A design for an apartment renovation fills a pre-war factory floor with rooms treated like pieces of furniture which serve the space by organizing it around two parallel axes of circulation. This project was a study in how to retroactively implement an architectural concept into an existing structure, and how to carry that concept through to the level of details. Within the project, details were crafted for two spaces in the apartment: the central library and the transition space between the main bedroom and bathroom.
